How to apply for internships at the FES Philippines
FES Philippine regularly offers internships to young people, both local and international, with the condition that they have either completed at least the first three years of their studies or have recently graduated. We welcome individuals who would like to experience the working environment at a political foundation.
A study background in political science, sociology, communications, economics or related areas of study has proven to be most advantageous. Those with interest in international cooperation and/or are engaged in socio-political organizations like trade unions, youth organizations, women’s organizations, and political parties are especially welcome to apply.
Applicants should be open-minded to local culture and be able to adapt to different situations and challenges.
Tasks and Terms
Apart from participation in seminars and workshops, research and writing of texts and papers, assistance in daily office work, it is possible to identify an area of particular interest. The duration of the internship should not be less than 3 months and should not be more than 6 months.
Due to internal regulations, FES cannot offer any compensation for the internship and any internship-related expenses.
Application
In order to arrange a possible assignment, the English application should be submitted well in advance. Thereby, the following items have to be included:
- Curriculum Vitae w/ passport photo
- Application letter with a statement of interest

Please send your application and the required documents by email to info.ph(at)fes.de and to coco.quimpo(at)fes.de.
